Just wondering if any of you have read the Elm Creek Quilt series and what did you think of it?

I read them and enjoyed them. However, my taste runs more toward historical autobiographies. ( Easy reads though)

I usually ready everything except romance.

Are they mysteries? Is each in the series connected? What time period to they take place in?

I just started on book two.It is not what I usually read but I am enjoying it.

I've read most of them and have really enjoyed them. For those who haven't read them, I suggest reading them in order because it is a continuing series. The books are set in present time, but a couple fit in the series as historical novels. Enjoy!

They are a series, set mostly in current time, although sometimes there are flashbacks...
You can read them in any order, but thats just me...
Jennifer is coming out with another, I think in March...I LOVE reading them, although they are rather easy reads...not too much romance...

I love the series. I'm just finishing The Aloha Quilt for the second time. I have read through the series twice now. It was easy reading especially when I was taking my mom to Dr. and physical therapy appointments. A little romance, a little history, a little quilt reference. Nothing complicated or mind boggling.
I really should try a block or two from the pattern books that I have!!! Oh well...more dreaming.
