OK gang, I know if anywhere, this is the place I can find my answer. I have a new Brother PE-770, and I need to find out how to emb letters small enough for a quilt label. It seems the smallest letters I try ( that came on the machine) are too large.
Is there an adjustment I'm missing? or is there a particular disc or files I need to purchase? The name and web site will help. Thanks in advance..... |
I do not have this particular model, But, I do have a brother.. I have standard fonts on my machine too. If I want a smaller/larger or special letters I have to download or purchase it either via online or on a memory card ( ur may have a USB port and not the memory card). U would need software to go from the puter to the emb machine.. ( u may have gotten it with ur machine or u may have to buy it additional (I had to buy additional-- I bought ped - basic))

I have a brother 770 and I love it-
you can resize the letters have you tried that? I am not at my machine right now to tell you how as it is 4 am *L* but I will come back later if you need direction......Rita Faye |
your owners manual should have all the instructions for sizing your fonts built into the machine- if using an outside source of embroidery programs they usually have size options too...but start with reading your manual-it contains a vast amount of important information

Here is a site that sells tiny fonts for quilt labels:
http://sew-n-2-u.com/shopdisplaycate...cat=Tiny+Fonts Be aware that although they advertise this as a 'font' they are really collections of letter designs. You can't type words, you will need to place each letter design to make your words. You may be able to do it on your machine, or may need a program like Embird. Once you take the time to create the first label, you can reuse it, keeping the info that hasn't changed. |
