From what I can learn by reading the Brother site, your machine uses the embroidery card format. You would buy designs on a card that slips into the slot on the side of your machine. Now, it is my understanding that you can buy blank cards that you can download designs onto (I believe in the PES format), but I believe you would need to purchase hardware to do that. I believe it is called a 'Magic Box'. My suggestion is to contact your Brother dealer and get them you help you out with this. Even if you didn't get it from a dealer, I would think a dealer would help as they might get a sale out of it for the box or embroidery designs card. That being said, I think I have seen both emb cards and the magic box online on ebay. Hopefully someone else on the board has this machine and can be more help. Good luck |
I have the Brother ULT 2002D. You need to get a Ped Basic, and that will read the designs from your computer, and you transfer them to the disk. Here is a link for it.
http://www.amazon.com/Brother-PED-Ba...9357667&sr=8-1 You might be able to find it cheaper somewhere else. Hope this is what you were looking for. |

Thank U I have the same machine. Do you have Ped-Basic kit to convert from CD to a memory card? I bought mine on line from the Brother.com site, but you can get one at the shop where you bought your machine. Good luck I enjoy mine ... |
dont forget emblibrary.com
Embroidert Library sells lots of singles -- when you want one design and not a whole slew that you will never use.

allbrand.com has the ped system for the brother se350 for 118.00 and you get 3900 designs with it i know just bought one waiting for the ups truck to brng it

I bought the PED basic for my brother a number of years ago. It is still available and comes with a disc. I then use the ped basic to download patterns onto my disc and insert it into the machine to embroider. There are other PED machines but the basic works for me and is available online through several sources
Hope that helps |
My favorite site to get designs is embroiderydesigns.com because you can download 3 free designs a week and they have sales. I like to wait and get Dakota designs for $8.00 when they have a sale!
