EQ7 and Lucy Boston (elongated hexagon and squares) quilt

I just got EQ7 and want to do a Lucy Boston quilt. I can purchase the pattern from Inklingo, but if I can do the same thing with EQ7, it would be nice since that is already paid for! *Ü* I want to do handpiecing with templates (so no seam allowances). I could buy the paper templates but need so many that it gets a bit outrageous price wise to buy them pre-cut. Plus I kind of like to do from start to finish.

Any EQ7 users know how/where in the software to do this for someone who is a COMPLETE newbie?

Do you mean Lucy M Boston, who wrote the Green Knowe Stories?

I lived in the same village as she did (Hemmingford Grey) in the 1970's and visited her house many times. I wasn't interested in quilting at that time, but remember the quilts in her house - they were EVERYWHERE.

She was a wonderful lady: she used to entertain anyone who came to the house. Afternoon tea with tiny little cakes and pastries, a tour of the house, including the nursery, and finally a tour around the garden to look at the topiary before letting us out of the back gate to the towpath running alongside the river.

Do show us when you start!

Click on EQ7 Project and download the file to wherever you usually save your EQ projects on your hard drive.

Then go to your EQ7 and open the file InklingoPOTCR.PJ7.

Enjoy!

Thank you so very much!!!!! I found it there and have it downloaded...now to figure out how to open it in EQ7! I love this place!!!!!

Open EQ7.

Select the middle tab - Open an Existing Project

The list will contain all the projects (.pj7 files) in your default directory.

The file InklingoPOTCR.PJ7 should be there.
Select. And begin playing.

If, by chance, it's not listed, there is an OPEN FILE ICON at the bottom which will allow you to search other directories on your hard drive - the project was probably saved elsewhere when you downloaded the file.
