I practice the same method of ripping out every few stitches (maybe 10) and then pulling out the thread intact. It's not as "messy" as having so many little pieces. However, I also keep a lint roller on my sewing table, so that's always a good idea, but the eraser, I'll have to try at my next 'frogger session'. I'm willing to try any new method to lesson the burden. Thanks!

I read the tip about the lint roller on this board some time ago. When I was cleaning up the back of my quilt for sandwiching, it really helped picking up the small but stray threads that I snipped. Works great.
