Has anyone tried the Essential Thread that is sold through Connecting Threads? It sells out quickly! I am hoping to order some neutral colors at the end of the month when they restock. Barb C.

I haven't tried any yet, but some people simply love it while other people say it leaves behind too much lint on their machines. Maybe you can try a couple spools to see how you like it before ordering a large amount.

This thread is WONDERFUL !!! It is Egyptian long staple, is very strong and 100% cotton. Our guild discovered it a several years ago and I think we all use it. Connecting Threads has the best prices, thus they sell out so quickly.

Try a few before ordering a full supply. IMHO, it was ok to use but linty. Some really like it though.

I haven't tried the Essential Thread yet. I really like the super large spools of Coates and Clark and don't find it too "linty". But I do take the bobbin housing apart pretty frequently to de-lint both it and the feed dogs. Maybe no lint wads have had the chance to grow??
