I recently graduated and haven't yet found a job, so with the down time I have completed several quilts (and at last count 36 tops). I was curious - from those who sell on Etsy - what is the experience like? I've been told by several friends now that I should seriously consider it as an outlet for my work...

Many Thanks!

etsy is great!
your work is treated as an art form and a skill
and the value is appreciated
join take a look around and ask questions
but be prepared there are alot of quilters that sell
thru etsy

I've been selling on Etsy for almost 2 years. It started out slow but has really picked up. The fees are much better than Ebay but the sales are better on Ebay. It sure wouldn't hurt to give it a shot!

I'm glad to hear that Etsy values what people make. I don't know if that can be said for Ebay.

You might consider your local art museum, craft shop or baby boutique. E mail to Plain Jane in NYC.
