I have made plenty of blankets and pillows and clothes for my furchildren. LOL. My pets are my babies. My husband and I do not have any children yet...hopefully soon. But even if we did, our pets would still be our furchildren. LOL.

A few years ago we played "strip Poker" at a guild meeting - we "bet" with strips of fabric. Since the strips were all different colors, and not quite all the same size, I trimmed them up to match & made a mini rail fence that my cat took as her own....well, actually, she says they are ALL hers! LOL

I made a quilt for my older sister's 65th birthday and then made a pillow for her kitty so she wouldn't have to share. Surprised us both when the kitty decided to use the pillow!
My cat just claims whatever quilt he can get his body on! He's not real picky but he really likes whatever quilt you happen to be working on at the time the best!!!

Yvonne,
I think cats around the world are the same. My cat, pictured in the avatar, also likes any quilt I happen to be working on at the moment. She did, however, claim as her very own the first mini quilt that I made when I was learning to hand quilt. It now sits on my sofa and catches all those kitty hairs that fly around the house after her wherever she goes.

She loves to sit on my sewing machine and "help" with the piecing and I must keep my scraps in a very tightly closed box so she does not "pick out" the pieces that i have planned fo rmy next quilt.

Aren't pets marvelous? :D
