Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone has ordered from this company before and what your experience might have been, good or bad. I just placed an order a couple of days ago, and went to call them today when I needed to give them some important shipping info that I forgot to mention on the online order I made. They suggest you use their email for Customer Service matters. Since I need to get this info to them sooner than later, I looked all over for a phone number. Couldn't find one on their site. Did a Google search, and the two phone numbers that I found had both been disconnected. To further add to my concern, there was a hit there from Ripoff Report. I clicked on it and found one unhappy customer who never received their order and had troubles getting a hold of them, too. Now, I'm wondering if they are still in business, and how concerned I should be about my order. I did end up sending them an email using their form - which states they try to reply within 48 hours. I happened along their site when I was looking at reviews for Creative Grids rulers, which is what I ordered from them. I look forward to hearing from any of you regarding your experiences. Thanks, |
I haven't ordered anything from them but I was thinking about ordering some fabric dyes.
Hope your fears are unwarranted. |
I hope my fears are unwarranted, too. I will report back so everyone will know about my experience, good or bad.
Happy sewing, |
Call the better business bureau that services that area and see if there have been other complaints and ask what their current phone number is

I found this paragraph at the tail end of my on line order form: "Our recent move from New England to Texas created disruption beyond belief. We're dealing with it and are working the problems as quickly as we can. We hope you understand. Fabrics to Dye For Management" :?: :?: Hmm. Looks like I might possibly have some problems with my order. |
I hope you get your order eventually! :-)
|
Uh oh, more bad news!
After I read about their move from the New England area, I decided to do more searching. The BBB gave them an "F" rating for their business there, too! Yikes! I want to cancel my order, but not sure how to proceed if I can't even get a hold of them. Any ideas for me?? |

I see you're just up north from me. I'm near Woodland Park. Howdy neighbor! :D |
Call your credit card company and they will cancel the charge to your card. It is the only way to stop the process. You can always re-order if they get their act together.

Jois Given the BBB's "F" rating, the fact that there is NO phone number on their site to call them, the two I found by Googling have been discontinued and that I've sent two emails so far that have gone unanswered, my personal banker told me I've done everything I could, they will have no problem conducting the dispute - if there is one. There is no charge for this service. Well, this situation sure puts me back on high alert from now on. Guess I need to stick with companies I know or that others have done business with. I did read a review on the product I was trying to purchase from them, and the review mentioned this company as one that sold them. So, I guess you never know. The old caveat still stands, "Buyer beware." |
Just a note. I recently retired from banking. We discouraged our customers from using their debit cards online. Once the bad guys have the #, it is easy for them to continue charging things and it comes straight out of your account. It makes it very hard to dispute. Usually the bank ends up eating it to keep their customers happy. We encouraged our customers to have a credit card just for online purchases. It is much easier to dispute it with the credit card company - they seem to have a lot more clout! The other thing our customers were starting to do was to buy a pre-paid credit card just for online use. That way if someone used the #, there are limited funds attached to the card.

Thank you so much for all of your sage advice regarding the use of debit cards for online use. I was not aware of these things. The one thing I have done to minimize any cleaning out of our account, is that I use this account strictly for online purchases and keep only the amount I intend to use in one month in there. Believe me, that's just a very small amount. Since I'll be stopping by the bank tomorrow, I will ask about the pre-paid credit cards. Again, many thanks. |
Good idea on the way you handle your account. That keeps you from really getting taken! I hope I was some help and good luck.
