My stitches are looking pretty good but I get eyelashes on some curves. Small ones, but annoying. Other than moving more slowly and consistently, are there any tips, tricks or gadgets I can try?

Slow the fabric but speed up the machine. Slow hand and fast needle should get rid of them, assuming that your tension is fine. What machine do you use? When I used an old Kenmore I found that certain threads gave me eye lashes no matter what I did, and other threads never did. I now have a Bernina and never get them.

I have a Kenmore actually. I think made in 2004.Tension seems good most of the time. I get the eyelashes only on some curves. Maybe I am moving too fast. Are there threads that you would recommend?

Get some Magic Genie Bobbin Washers and use one in your bobbin case. I get them from Keepsake Quilting and Connecting Threads.

Ok I'll have to check them out. Thanks :)

Remember that your hand speed needs to slow down on curves, but keep the machine speed the same.
