I sent the following email to fabric.com

My order included a Three Pound Cotton Remnant Assortment. Both the web description and the invoice state the fabric is 100% cotton. However, a 1 yard piece of red stretch fabric was included with my order.

I thought you should be aware that fabrics other than 100% cotton have been included in your bundles. Quilters love these but prefer cotton.

Today I got this reply.

We are sorry this fabric may have been mistakenly included in the order. We have issued a $3.00 store credit to your email address. Allow 3-5 business days for the store credit to process it then automatically deducts from an order on the checkout page.

We hope this is helpful and please let us know should you have any additional questions.

How's that for incentive to place another order. ;)

Yep, rather have the money back.

They do make mistakes, but they are always quick to rectify them with no argument. Can't ask for much more than that.

I have stretchy tshirts that are 100% cotton so isn't it possible that the stretch is cotton? Or is it obviously not?

I have always had great service from them.

It's more like spandex.
