Does anyone have any pattern ideas to make fabric flowers - a bit like a daisy -- to use as embellishents to tote bags, purses etc please ??
With grateful thanks,
Dottyd.

I am getting ready to try cutting fabric with the cricut. Do you have any suggestions/tips/pointers?

To the OP. I have gone online and gotten some "templates" from kids coloring pages.

looking for flowers here too but I have tons & tons of books to go thru. But I have so many projects going on I need to focus on one at a time.

I think it is Sumiko Kudo (book not with me) who has two books on applique, 3-D flowers that are great! Also, Joan Shay has her version that are also lovely (can't remember name of her books either)

Go to google and type 3D fabric flowers for sewing and see what you come up with. Google is great!!!!!!

Just draw out your petal to the size you want and make the petals and then sew them down to make your flower if you want a daisy. Look on line at some of the quilt magazine web sites. I've seen some flowers in them this spring.
