what do you use to draw on quilts- like the little faces on flowers on a baby quilt- I've been using a sharpie and it is bleding-I want it to be crisp and sharp for little eyes and little smiles.

There are several brands of pens that are made just for fabric. These do not bleed and are heat set to make them permanent. :D:D:D

I love Pigma pens and they don't run. They are made
for permanent marking on fabrics.

Will watch this posting for suggestions. Have tried Sharpie & Painters by Elmer's & Vogart's all fine points but all bleed a little, even with a light-touch. Hope someone has advice.

I use Tsukineko inks and also their pens. The fabric stays really soft.

gelly roll pens are great. so are the micron pigma pens. both have fine points to allow good details

In the scrapbooking section at JoAnn's I've found some pens that are made by Zig-Zag. These are wonderful, nice ballpoints on them and very easy to write on fabric with. I'm not a big Pigma fan as the point is very narrow and I find I catch threads when I'm trying to write something.

martha stewart has fabric markers at michaels. they also sell others that work well. my favorite is sold at the post office, they sell it with the mailing supplies. it is a bit thicker than the fine pens tho.

Whatever brand you get MAKE SURE it says that it is made for fabrics.
