I found an awsome site on ebay i wanted to share with everyone. I bought several of the 108" backing fabrics and the qualit is outstanding. Go on ebay and do a search for Quilting Quest which is the name of the store and the sellers name is 455Lynne The prices are really good too check it out, just ordered more fabric from her. She has a quilt shop in Lexington NC

how do you search for a particular seller on ebay?

debbieumphress 03-06-2011 09:33 AM

You click on the "advanced" search button and then there's a place you can click on seller name and type it in, then her spot comes up. Have fun.

I've bought charm packs and jelly rolls on E-Bay. I've never had problems. In fact, I've been able to find things I couldn't find anywhere else.

I purchased some yardage for a backing last year from a seller in Canada. I assumed it would be a shade different than pictured, which would make it perfect for my needs. Bought it for a fair price, it arrived in 5 days....and was exactly the color the picture had showed. I used it, but not on the quilt I had intended it for.
My first purchase on eBay was for 100 5" cotton squares. I expected a large variety of fabric patterns and shades of blues, but there were only about 10 patterns and more than a quarter of them were thin gingham or see-thru fabrics. Watch out for those kinds of packets.
I most certainly will continue to buy fabric on eBay, but I'm careful at reading the descriptions, I pay attention to the seller ratings, and I don't hesitate to ask the seller any questions I may have.
