I have 12 fat quarters and 2 yards of fabric i want to use to make a quilt. I know it is enough to make a lap size yellow brick road quilt, but I want something with a little more personality.
Any ideas...................

I LOVE those fabrics. I would hit Moda Bake Shop. If you click on Bakery you can choose patterns made with fat quarters. Also I adore this pattern. http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransso...ave-quilt.html

Gorgeous fabrics!!!!

Instead of Turning 20, you could Turn 12 and use the 2 yards as your focus fabric and border.

Fantastic prints! Gonna be lovely!

Ooooohhh - that is scrumptuous fabric!

I've been eyeing this pattern ... 'Wickedly Easy'
http://www.byannie.com/media/images/...s_patterns.pdf

There's a similar pattern in the current Keepsake Quilting catalog - "Fractions on a Roll" - and they're another one in their printed catalog that is like 'Wickedly Easy' but with only three fabrics on each side of the strip rather than five or six.

Or "Chopsticks" (might need a blender to do the triangle frames) or "The Big EZ II Quilt" will really show off the prints ...

With these fabrics, I'd be tempted to keep the pieces nice and big ... like this one:

Good luck, be sure to show us your finish :)

Beautiful fabric. Anything you make is going to be beautiful.

WOW, what a great job of putting together fabrics....cannot wait to see the finished product. Would you happen to know the name and maker of the 5th fabric down, the black with bright flowers? Would like to try to find some of it. Good luck with your project!
