I saw a demo, and bought a pattern for making these. They do not call for Insul-Bright. I have had too many potholders that weren't heat proof and I'm wondering if I can add this. Anyone tried it?

When I made mine last year I did one layer insulbrite & 2 layers of warm and natural. Have had many compliments on how the heat does not transfer thru to the hand!!!
