I know you guys know about this better than me and I can't see the details in the pictures. anybody know if its a featherweight or not???

No. Not sure what model, but not a featherweight.

If you can get to the serial number, you can look it up on Singer's website. http://www.singerco.com/support/serial_numbers.html

I don't think so, there is not the little fold out shelf to the left of the needle. BUT it is a pretty machine :D:D:D

that's ok. it was listed on craigs list... I didn't buy it, but thought I would if it was a featherweight. thanks for the quick responses!!!

That looks like a Singer 99.

sorry to tell you, it is not a Featherweight. Singer also made something like a 3/4 size machine. You may have one of those?

It's not a featherweight but a nice machine. I have one that looks just like it. My friends were going to throw it away and I said, "I'LL TAKE IT! My foot pedal is different. We have sewed a couple hundred pairs of wool felted mittens on it. Mayme

No, not a featherweight....think it is a 99K...which is still a good machine...just not a 221.

I think it is a model 128. 3/4 size. About 30 pounds. Not a FW but a great machine. See my avatar. Mine has been converted to a hand crank. I love it.
