FINALLY finished a quilt!

Sorry there isn't a pic, but I didn't have time to take one. I made a Christmas quilt for my aunt who is living in a nursing home. This was her 2nd Christmas there. I made a lap sized quilt using the 10 minute block pattern. It was sparkly green, red with gold stars and a really cute penguin with santa hats pattern. The back was holly and red. I quilted it with an over-all meander. I have many many quilts in progress but this one is the first I actually finished. I have been quilting less than a year so I am kind of excited about it and wanted to share. I wish I had a pic, but I was finishing it up about an hour before I gave it away :)

Congratulations on completing your first quilt! It sounds lovely, and I'm sure your aunt is loving it.

Congratulations on finishing your first quilt. Wasn't it a wonderful feeling? And, the best part is that you will always get that same feeling every time you finish a WIP.
