Quiltingboard Forums - Finally got to use my little Singer! I love it!

I think I told you all that I had used my aunt's basic Janome for my first quilting project. I liked it fine, but really didn't have anything to compare it to. Well, my aunt took her machine in for a yearly service and got my Singer out of the box and set it up for me. Yesterday, I went over and got to use it to start a new project for my cousin's new baby coming in May. OMG! I am in love. I mean, I know it is just a cheap little machine, but it felt so different than my aunt's machine. It felt much smoother and was definitely quieter. It even had a thread cutter. LOL! I guess time will tell on how good this machine actually is, but so far I'm really happy! :) Just had to share! I guess it's like when you get your first little cheap car at 16! You're just so happy it's yours! LOL
