I'm soooo excited! Tonight I had the first class in my new quilt studio and everything went well.

We added a huge room onto the house for my quilt studio, to hold my longarm and have a classroom. We live out in the country, so I wasn't sure anyone would be interested in driving out for a class. Well, I had 7 ladies show up (I'm limited in space to 8). I will repeat the class tomorrow to another 7 ladies. We made the Square Within A Square 2 pattern.

They want to come back, so we set the next class for Oct 13 and will do a D9P. I hope the class tomorrow goes as well.

That sounds great. Praying you will get many more ladies interested in quilting.

That's wonderful! My LQS where I took classes closed. I really miss the classes.

Congratulations!!! I wish we had someplace here that offered classes, I would have no problem driving out of the way to attend them It sounds like you are starting out very very well keep up the good work!!!!
