I have not, but I sure would like to play on it. Penny

I just bought an older version from someone on Ebay for $39.

You have to buy the 2x2 pieces of wood to use in it.

I haven't tried it yet.

There is another quilter here that has one and she uses it all the time, kluedesigns. After chatting with her, I decided to buy it.

I'm hoping to try it this weekend.

I have one. It wasn't to my liking but some here love them. If anyone wants one, I'll happily sell mine for 1/2 what I paid for it!!

I've had mine for several years and I've only used it a couple of times. It's a little awkward and I've only used it on lap quilts. I bought the long boards for full size quilts, but have yet to use them. I'll probably try again.

DebraK 04-07-2010 06:45 AM

Does somebody want mine? I used it once.

Candace 04-07-2010 07:04 AM

I watched the video. It sure seems like a lot of hand stitching and work for like 3 to 4" of quilting space....

There are many posts on this subject. It comes up often.
I dont like the frame and gave up on it but alot of people like it.

How much is it? I would love to have it, I don't have money, but maybe I can go without one of my meds to buy it from you. dose it do queen size quilts? Penny

LucyInTheSky 04-07-2010 08:17 AM

I heart my frame. I quilted a queen quilt in 25 hours, only 1/3 of which I was actually quilting :D

I was amazed he used a weed whacker to do the edges on his rag quilt. :)

MollieSue posted this. I went and got the stuff to make it. Like she said it was about 16.00 for the supplies. I haven't put it together yet (still waiting on my little brother to drill the holes for me!) but It was cheap and I went ahead and bought a piece of pvc pipe the height of my machine instead of the wood block!

Thinking about it maybe I will feed him dinner one night this week and talk him into getting around to drilling four holes for me! lol

kimby1213 04-07-2010 05:11 PM

I got one of these from my mom. I just bought all of the pieces for it which consists of 2x2's, some PVC pipe, and some muslin. I have yet to put it all together. I will let you all know what I think of it when I do get it together. I just need to finish another quilt top to try it out.

Guess I better get off this silly computer and get to work, huh? :P

littlehud 04-09-2010 07:24 AM

Some love it and some don't. I really didn't. It worked OK on small quilts but I like to make larger bed quilts. Maybe if I had worked more on it I would have mastered it. As it is it just sits in the corner.

I got mine a few years ago & it was ok but you just have to get used to quilting with it. I only done one small quilt & then I got my Mega Quilter with a frame so just haven't used it since
