I am going to take the jump and try picture quilting. This will be the picture I am going to attempt to make in to a quilt...my little snow elf :-)

Any tips, tricks or techniques anyone has to share I would be glad to listen.

Can't give you any advice, but she isn't a snow elf. She looks more like an Snow angel to me.

make a black and white copy so you get a good idea of the values in the basic photo...all pink is not the same, etc. and enlarge the copy so you can see this better
