Just want to say I found an amazing store with tons of amazing fabric and friendly help! PLUS they give you an extra couple of inches when you buy yardage! OMG I thought I was Alice in Wonderland. Its' called Sunshine Sewing Company in Margate FL, they have a web site www.sunshinesewing.com. I went on Saturday and it was just a wonderful experience and of course I came home with a bag ofgoodies!

It's so nice to hear of a nice shop. I've found it to be a 50% chance when visiting. There is one that my friend and I call "Rude and Useless" because that is just what they are. One lady is rude and condescending, and the other hasn't a clue about quilting. We avoid it until we've exhausted all other possibilities and they are our last resort when searching for something in particular.

That said, some others are usually very friendly and helpful and some are just indifferent.

That's what makes going on a shop hop so much fun- you get to see all the different varieties. We always patronize the nice ones. :-)

2 of my friends just found that shop a couple of weeks ago! The owner is very nice and is actually giving sewing lessons to one of my friends.
