Free motion designs

Can anyone tell me the 7 basic free motion designs. I need to start practicing and i can't find anything about it on the internet. It gives designs, feathers, ets, but those are a little more advanced, not really the 7 or so basic designs. Does anyone know?

hearts, stars, daisy' s, loop-d-loops, waves, leaves & vines, can't think of a 7th one---unless leaves & vines are two separate ones.... writing too (as in cursive writing names, ect) also good to practice free motion

Look at Leah Day's website (link below) she has some really great information. Most of her quilting is way too close for me but you can think outside the box and just make it larger and not so close together.

How did you come up with the number 7? Sounds like some author is using that as a hook for how she teaches quilting.

That's good to know, I can try waves and vines, maybe even loop de loops!
