Here is a thread I started when I got my machine. There are lots of sites listed:

The only web site I know that have regular free patterns is
www.annthegran.com they have changed their rules and now most of the patterns are available for free if you are a mamber, and that is not free. I always visit www.emblibrary.com They have a few free patterns, some 17 cents patterns and other regular priced patterns. Their prices are very reasonable and they have special offers almost every week where you can get desings for a dollar that are usually a lot more than that. Also sometimes you get discount coupons that make your order free. They have a happy hour, in which if you but something during the week, you can go, by invitation only, during the weekend, purchase something and get 10 free designs (5 each in two different sizes). I have spent many hours and many $ in the site. One thing I love, is that I still have not needed a pattern they didn't have and they are excellent digitizers. Their work is excellent. Enjoy your machine. Maria What kind of machine did you get? It must have some built in patterns too. |

I got a lot of designs from designs by sick. They have thousands of designs, one free every day. Their site offers sets of designs very cheap and they often have specials for $1 a set which is usually about 8 designs. I have also bought on ebay for very low cost. My favorite designs came from Oregon Patchworks when they have a sale. The designs I have bought are almost all redwork, the outline designs in old fashioned motifs.

I have downloaded from many of the sites listed above, and I will say that most stitch out wonderfully, but some haven't stitched out very well. I always stitch them out on a practice piece of fabric first :D:D:D
