Hello all! I have been asked to make a baby quilt with a frog theme. I was thinking of some applique, some outlining....I know you will give me some good ideas or sites to look at!

I just did a google on "frog applique" and it came up with several sites with free frog patterns. You might want to take a look there.

I do applique baby quilts and use patterns all the time. I get most of the patterns from children's coloring pages. One of the favorite sites is http://www.coloring.ws/.

Thanks to everyone for the input! I ended up on a kids coloring page and went with a frog outline. I used two different greens ( wild colors) and liked the suggestion of the heart in the center of the chest. I did a 9 block with beige background, pale yellow moda sashing, and three outer shasings using the greens of the frog, with the frog colors in the corners for 'blocks'. I got so into it that I was up till 4am working on it. If I wasn't so computer challenged, I would post a pic!

Sounds awesome! For posting pics for me all I do is plug my cord from camera to computer...it downloads them into 'my pictures' I can then transfer them to 'owners pics' where I apply them to the posts here...go to posting pics how to on the top of the thread...very easy directions to follow. I know if I can do it...anyone can:)LOL I've mastered it w/o the kids doing it for me:)LOL We'd love to see this great sounding frog! SKeat
