Full body workout!!!
Anyone who thinks quilting is for little old ladies is crazy. They should try wrestling a queen size quilt through a 5 inch harp............my shoulders, arms and neck are sore..............not done yet, Aleve time......will so be worth it when it is done..............just had to say.........:)

I second that!!!!

I never thought of it that way, but you couldn't be more right!

Hi,
I don't think so , that it happens. |
My avatar looked and felt like an anaconda! I had it rolled up and draped over two chairs behind me. So over my right shoulder it went and through the harp of the machine. I wish I had taken pictures. I was worn out wrestling with it!
I do enjoy sleeping under it every night, though. No pain, no gain! Love these quilting adventures. |
Boy you are not kidding! I thought I was just getting old. Ibuprofen all the way!!!!!!!!!!
|
been there...
|
After your done you can sleep under your quilt. You deserve a break!
|
Boy, you aren't kidding - it is a full body workout and not for wimps!
|
How right you are. Of course, then comes the chocolate as a reward:) as we lounge cuddled up in the quilt.
|
Puts a whole new twist on quilting, now we can say it's exercise

The last time I went to my chiropractor he asked my neck and shoulders were so stiff and tight, I told him it was from quilting. He said (and I quote) "You mean like little old ladies do?".
Grrrrrrr |
It makes me work up a sweat, too, especially with my hands sweltering away in those rubber-palmed gloves.
|
I feel your pain - literally. BenGay is my new best friend.
