Fusible batting?

I am working on my rings that bind quilt. Pattern calls for fusible batting. Is easy to quilt but seems so flat. Does the stuff that fuses wash out like glue does once you wash the finished quilt so it is a little purifier or softer? I am not doing dense quilting.

Yes, the fusible does wash out.

I love my Hobbs 80/20 fusible batt and it is water solvable. I am careful not to iron with steam when using it. The Hobbs does fluff a bit after washing and is like most other 80/20 blends. I don't know which brand you used so I don't know if yours will wash out.
