What is the best way to get fusing off material that is outside the applique?

I tried heating it using a paper towel to soak up the adhesive, it did not go too well. However I DO know how to get it off your iron.

I placed another piece of cloth over it and ironed, , quickly lifting off the cloth piece. Took a few times, but it did come off the good and onto the extra.

I buy "Iron Off" by Dritz at Joann Fabrics and it works great. But you have to use it outside as the odor will set your smoke alarm off. LOL

You need used dryer sheets. Set the iron on warm, then press on the dryersheets! They will take off the sticky and pollish your iron at the same time.

thats why I use the silicon applique sheets.

I tried the fabric sheets and couldn't get the wrinkles out  so I turned up the iron  then I gave up LOL
