I'm making a mini Bow Tuck to sell and I'm wondering how to word a label giving credit to the designer for the pattern, but also to myself for making the bag. I'm not sure I want it to be just a generic label, I'd like to make it sound good, but I'm no good with making labels sound good. Any suggestions?

I read on her site that you can include a little card with "Pattern designed by Quiltsillistrated.inc" You could do the label however you wish. I just make a business size card on my computer and stick it in the pocket.

WHY? I understand a quilt if your making it for someone as a gift wanting everyone to know where it came from exp if it is meant to be around long after your gone. But to make something to SELL? Why would the buyer care what city state and the date it was made? Its a bag!

I can understand a simple twill tag with a business name or whatever tucked inside like most commerical manufactors do but a whole list of info. That to me is a turn off.

I like business card idea. and instead of putting it in a pocket you could always tie it on the handle or whatever.

I don't think you need a label...it's not a quilt it's a bag.

Some designers ask that you give the pattern credit to them when you make items to sell from their patterns. I bought some patterns that say that they don't want you to use their patterns to make items sell. I get rid of those patterns and now make sure to read the fine print.
