It has to be diluted enough so it won't stick to your iron and burn. Start with a teaspoon and keep adding water until you find the right ratio. It works but I prefer the regular spray starch.

I think that one may be a permanent glue, I would make sure before using as it would not wash out if it is permanent.

I also use a teflon ironing sheet when using this sort of thing so it does not get on my iron.

It says Temporary Basting Glue, holds firmly until moistened. But I bought an ironing sheet too.

Roxanne's holds without heat setting. I have used it both ways and never had it be permanent, I could pull it apart. I do like Roxanne's better then Elmer's.
