It has to be diluted enough so it won't stick to your iron and burn. Start with a teaspoon and keep adding water until you find the right ratio. It works but I prefer the regular spray starch.

Roxanne's holds without heat setting. I have used it both ways and never had it be permanent, I could pull it apart. I do like Roxanne's better then Elmer's.
