I also find that if I wait for the hiss to stop when I spray the starch onto warm fabric, then press, I don't get flakes. :-D

BTW do not starch fabrics that you are going to use with fusible web as it will not stick as well. :-D

i've been doing it this way - nice to know its an approved method.
