Send me a private msg and will give you phone number or such. What part of town do you live in? Maybe you would like to join us at the Chaffee Libary on Mondays.

The Goodwill pound store is off I-10 and Edgewood St on Lenox Ave and open about 9 am until 3 and then Sat until noon. They roll out bins on and off while your there, different items, some new with tags on like jackets, blouses, men's pants and etc. There are shelves with bins that have other items like knick knack, kitchen items, toys in bins, shoes several bins some new and several bins of books. You need to try and get a grocery cart to shop, some times you have to ask someone checking out for their cart when they are finish with it. On thrift stores look at hanging sheets and you will find pieces of material. I have also gotten curtains or valances and taken them apart and used the material for my quilt. So many things you can do with what is available. Just think QUILT when you shop, maybe a cotton large skirt with a wonderful pattern, cheap, can be washed and then open seams and let your mind go dancing... |
love it when people find stuff like that. We don't have one here.
