Gracie King Frame - and a Big Shout out

I hope this is ok to post here, I just ordered a Gracie King Frame from kathyquilts.com and had to give a big shout out of thanks to this company! Ordering anything from Canada can be challenging at the best of times, but Lynn made this the best ordering experience I have ever received. He really went above and beyond! I am sew excited to get my frame and start quilting with my Horizon on it! Any one elese have their machince on a Gracie frame? I think I just found my mo-jo again!!

Years ago I got a Gracie frame from Kathy quilts. They were great to help and when it came it was all so organized and well illistrated. Used it for about 5 years and sold it and got a bigger unit.

This experience has gone from a high to a low and slowly back up...I got my gracie king, took me four days to put it together..I was sew excited..just to find out - the surestitch and speed control is NOT compatable with the horizon...urg!! Spent a week emailing and phoning...so, I went and bought a Grandquilter 18.8 with the inspira frame at my LQS. Now I am spending the day taking the gracie apart and putting up the inspira...bitter sweet experience. Not sure what to do with the Gracie frame yet, sending it back just isnn't an option as they double boxed it and stappled it so well the boxes were destroyed. Blessed to have the 18.8 but a little frusterated at the process of getting there. I really thought I had done my homework on the frame and using the horizon with it. Off to see what the 18.8 can do..I know I will love it once I get going!
