Grannies Garden with a Fence
 

Has anyone seen a pattern for this quilt? It is a regular Grandmother's Garden Hexie quilt with diamonds around each section. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...24419380_n.jpg The name is Grannies Garden with a Fence, I've Googled and just can't seem to locate it.

I have seen a few others done in the similar style and been quite attracted to the look. I think it was in the QB Gallery. Not sure!

I don't have a pattern, though you could easily make your own template piece.
The diamond is just the two outside/opposite points of the hexie.

there are actually two border pieces ... the diamond and the triangle piece where the fence pieces meet and turn.

That is probably the prettiest GFG I've ever seen. I love the "fence" and I love the way she fussy cut the hexies. The "fence" is also fussy cut!!

Don't know which pattern but that quilt is really lovely! show us a pic if you make it. Will flag this post for further info!!!!!

I never really cared for GFG that much, but I love this variation. Thanks for posting it.

I have always heard of the diamonds refered to as "connectors". Fence makes it much more interesting. That is a lovely quilt. If you google GFG you will likely come up with lots of tutes. I have seen the diamonds and hexagon pattern on some site, but can't seem to find it now. Good luck with your search.
