Quiltingboard Forums - Great Quilt Shop in Central Jersey

On Friday I picked up my friend Elaine and drove to our local LQS that recently reopened in a new location. We were going to check out the shop's new space and expanded fabric selections and also meet for the first time Kim (NJQuilter from this message board). I have to report that our trip was a great success, Kim was a treat to meet and the shop is big, bright, tons of bolts, accessories, helpful staff, big classroom, full Jannone dealership and will soon have full quilitng services. After checking at the shop we spent an hour or so getting to know each other over coffee at Dunkin Donuts which is in the same small shopping center as the quilt shop. There are also 2 places for lunch as well as a delicious looking bake shop. All that and it's only a half hour drive for me. I certainly will be making more trips to the quilt shop and making a day of it with lunch at one of the restaurants. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. May in Jersey
