Grinch xmas quilt?
I just bought several fat quarters of Robert Kaufman Grinch fabric. I want to make my husband a lap quilt but it needs to be quick and easy! The fabric has pictures that are all sizes. Any ideas of a good pattern I can use? I am not good at creating my own. Thanks

Quick.....go to Missouri Star Quilt Company website and look at their daily deal. There is a video on that page that shows a very simple tumbler quilt. Deal expires at midnight!

http://www.robertkaufman.com/quiltin...s_panel_quilt/ http://www.robertkaufman.com/quiltin...the_hat_quilt/ These are 3 patterns from Robert Kaufman using the grinch fabric and Dr. Seuss fabric. The 2nd one calls for the panel fabric but you certainly could do it without. |
or maybe you could do a snowball pattern?

I'm just finishing one for my 49 year old sister after she saw the fabric! I basically cut all the panels out, then added the borders from the other fat quarters, adding enough to make a 12" square, then put sashing between each block. Hope that helps! Quilting it now and will try to post pic when done.
