Does anyone know if there is any fabric available to purchase with things like scissors, hair dryers, combs, brushes etc. I am wanting to make my soon to be DIL a quilt as she is going to beauty school and thought she would like this if there is any fabric like this. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes!! I just seen some before Christmas, it had all of that scattered all over. I don't remember where I saw it, but I had been searching for novelty fabrics :D:D:D

Timeless Treasures has a line of fabric, under Jennifer Garant Novelties. I saw some at a LQS, but unfortunately, I can't remember which one. I'll check again next time I go out.

The scissor one I saw was black with white scissors all over...It was just out last fall I beleive... Do google search and you should find few different ones!

It's at equilter.com Just search for hair stylist. They had several that were cute and they did have the black one. I just ordered from them - prompt, great fabric and very nice to deal with.

Yes, I only need 1/2 or 1 yd to make a tote for my hair stylist.

This post is from 2010, 2011, and 2012. That fabric is very unlikely to still be available.

I don't have anything suitable but I did some searches at the usual places -- which for me is equilter.com, fabric.com, etsy, and Amazon. I'm sure Spoonflower must have some -- it always does but not at prices I'm willing to pay.

There is quite a bit of fabric that comes up under "barber" and "hair". I tried a bunch of searches and those were the most successful.
