I was at Hancock Fabrics today and NOTHING was on sale. Really dismal. I asked why and the clerk showed me the ad for April 8-11.

ALL OF THE ABSOLUTELY COTTON QUILTERS FABRIC WILL BE 50% OFF.

I just thought you'd want to know so you could save your pennies.

Hugs,
MJ

Thanks for the heads up MJ. I don't go as much because of the drive but it sounds like it will be worth it that week.

Will it be online too or just in the store?

I don't know, what I saw was the future store ad.

Woooohooo. Thank you for letting us all know.
I was just thinking about going tomorrow and buying nine and a half yards that I need for the pathways on a Grandmother's Flower Garden. Guess what I am going to wait! lol

My Hancock Fabrics was having a Grand Re Opening sale this weekend and almost the entire store was either 50% or 60% off!!!

I went Friday and bought batting and and 3 spools of thread for a King size quilt I am working on and only spent $18!

Then My wife and I went today and we spent over $300 on batting and TONS of fabric!! She was finding all sorts of fabrics for my stash and telling me I need to make a table runner for this and another quilt for our bed and how it pretty is this......

Oh well at least she had fun and so did I!!

Who has a stash built back up again!!!!

We don't have a Hancock's in my city, but there is one about a 1/2 hour each way drive. Is it similar to Joanne's in quality etc? I don't like Joanne's fabric quality, but do buy batting, needles etc. and this may be another option.

I'm planning to hit Hancock that week for materials for a quilt I'm scheming for when I finish the one in progress. I'm going mildly insane trying to find a print I like for part of the design. Hope they have something suitable (I'm also planning to ask DMIL if she has anything suitable in stash she'll part with).
