I am a hand quilter. When I sit at my quilt frame my back starts to ache after a very short time. Does anyone know the correct height my frame and chair should be? Or does anyone have any solutions for my aching back?

Pam, I have a cheap office chair that you can adjust the height on and my frame tilts some if I choose but it takes a little adjusting to get it right each time but you still have to get up and move and stretch to give your back a break. I know it's hard once you get in your groove. Maybe you can set a timer for 30 minutes and take a 10-15 minute break.

I concur on the break time. I don't use a frame, just lap quilt. But when I machine quilt I set the timer too. That way you won't quilt till your in pain for rest of day.
