I am looking for instructions to make a quilt out of handkerchiefs. Do you sew them onto blocks of muslin or broadcloth or use wonder under to secure them? I am not really computer literate so it takes me a long time to navigate the webb. Thank you. SandyB

Here are some to look at. Personally I like the idea of laying them out flat ontop of lighly colored cotton squares and appliqueing them down then doing decorative embroidery stitches accross them to keep them in place. Like rosettes and daisy or anything that would go with the design of the hanky. Good luck.

Be careful! While I was looking at these sites a red screen came up on home and garden site telling me it was unsafe ??????

Thank you so much for the links. Now I know what I can do with all these beautiful hankies I have been collecting. I brought back over 30 from our visit to Ukraine in '04. It will bring back lots of good memories every time I see it.

That's really strange. I had the site come up with no problem at all.

Did this also ask you to buy a virus scanner? I've had that, and my hubby (software engineer) told me is was spam and delete it. Trolling for sales.
