Hi all! I just returned from the Harvest of Quilts Show festival in Pine Bush, NY. What a magnificent display of quilts! Aside from the traditonal as well as "art" quilts of today, there was a special collection of quilts from the World War II era. It was inspirational to say the least. Although I appreciate machine pieced and quilted projects, I most admire quilts that are pieced and quilted by hand. Aftrer viewing so many beautiful works of art, I'm inpsired.........again!
Have a quilty kind of day!!! Pat

I just got back from that quilt show too!!! I wanted to take some pictures, but the battery died in my camera. :(

The World War II quilts were pretty cool. There were alot that were pieced and quilted by hand. Such great work!

I'm going tomorrow. We went to the garlic festival in Saugerties, NY today. MMMM it was good. We got 2 bottles of garlic vinegar this time and some pickles and mushrooms. Speaking of which they should be cold enough now.....

I thought it was a good show. Good vendors too. I saw the garlic festival advertised and though it might be a fun place to go. Maybe next year!
