This one Sew Essentials Cutting Table http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/p...DID=xprd830869

I got a flyer in the mail today and it's going to be on sale for 69.99.

I was wondering if any one has one and how they like it.

Also, was wondering if you can just have half of the table up at a time? Whether that's an option or not.

Thanks for any feed back.

Carol

Yes, I bought one years ago and love it.

You can fold it down totally and it is about a foot wide...or you can fold one side down.

The wheels are great too.

I can fold it up and roll it away when needed.

I have this...and love it!!! I also use it when I FMQ'ing...I just roll it up next to my table that my sewing machine is on and lay the quilt on it. I use that table to iron, cut, also for my studio cutter and the GO...I use it to place quilt pieces on...I use it for everything...it folds up nicely and its on wheels so when I am done I roll in the back room and store it behind my door. I got a great deal on it. and so glad I bought it. Only regret is that I did not buy two. - I still would but really need a sewing room first before I get another one.

My SIL has one in her guest bedroom where she keeps her quilting things. She loves it.

As Frugalfabrics said, it folds right up so you can just put it to one side.

I definitely would get one if I had the room.

Thank you!!! What I wanted to hear. lol

It's not showing on sale online yet. But the flyer said it would be going on sale.

I started to get a plastic "picnic type table" from Westlakes, however, it was like 29 inches tall (short) and I thought my back would be killing me for sure if I got that.

So Thanks again for your feedback.

I have that table. I was lucky enough to received this as a gift from my cousin. She had cancer and was my quilt teacher before she passed away. Anyway, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my table. I was having problems cutting at a lower table. This one is perfect height. I have never used just half of the table but I am sure you can. I love that it is on rollers and can be moved around if needed. There are times when I wish it were just a little bigger but all in all it is fantastic.

I have two of them, bought years ago. Actually, a different model, but close enough.
And they've been abused plenty but are still in fine condition.

A couple of suggestions:
They could be made a bit differently now but mine had 3 small hinges on each side- I replaced it with one long piano hinge (cost about $8 at Home Depot). It made it a lot stronger.

Also, mine didn't have a stop for the moving leg, so it was possible for it to swing wider than the table top, which would then collapse. That makes a really big sound. Like the kind that makes you jump 3 feet off the ground  . So I screwed a little stopper to the underside of the table to make sure it doesn't happen. Again.

Just be aware that the box is heavy. Very heavy. Make sure you have help carrying it.

I bought this table several years ago - love it. Only one caveat: someone leaned on the edge of it way too hard and broke one of the castors. I just propped that side up with blocks and put it against the wall.

I don't have this one, but another one they sold...It was regularly $180.00 and they closed it out, got it for $50.00...LOVE IT!

You can buy replacement casters at Lowe's (I think). They have a whole selection of those type of wheels.
