Need more inforamtion---like how big do you want the blocks to be, etc.

That is a pretty simple pattern, and would be easy to strip piece, but the name escapes me at the moment-----

As far as I know "Arrowhead block".

Anita Solomon shows you how to cut it very easy, without the hassle. The name of the book, Rotary Cutting Solution.

Try to order it from your local library, should you like it, you can buy it at a book store.

Looks like a Disappearing 4 Patch to me. Check out these directions http://sewwonderful.blogspot.com/201...o-9-patch.html Put D4P n the search box to see some examples. You could set your blocks on point to get the diagonal effect.

D9P and D16P are easy. The four must be, too.

Hi
Thanks for all your suggestions. I did find the block and the video suggested is great. I will try to post a picture when I get done. Thanks again.

I know that one as Texas Trail---the Arrowhead I know is completely different.

Aren't the names interesting? some are known by a dozen or more names!

I am using that block working on a quilt for DIL #2. Anita Grossman Soloman's instructions are GREAT and this is an easy block to make.
