I was searching the web for different types of design software,, I came across the Quilting Studio... It is $9.99 a year for the subscription which is a good price.. I like the idea it would always be updated with patterns and fabric to use in designing..However I also know that sometimes things are not always the way they are described on the web...

Has anyone used this program? Is it worth it?

I couldn't get past issues in the 'free trial' portion of the site - it wouldn't let me select some fabrics, some just changed to white, and the quilt preview didn't reflect the fabric choices. I won't sign up, because if that portion doesn't work as expected I have no reason to believe the paid portion would be any different.

I purchased 123 Quilt from Quilt-Pro - $40, and it does an adequate job for what I'm trying to do. It's not the top of the line for quilting software but middle of the road works for me. It does everything it says it does.

Okay back already. I don't think it is. Not much choices on blocks and that you realy need, and they don't even tell you about the fabric. If you could incorporate fabric you were thinking of buying in to try then I would say yes, becuse no matter what blocks you could get an idea of how they would look. I think you are better off with something else. One of them is free but I can't remember which one. I be back again. :shock:

QA_Installer is a free program and I already have it but for the life of me I can not find where I posted it. I am sure I posted it in links but can't find it or the site. I will keep trying but do a google search. Maybe you will get luckier then me.

I forgot, I do have this one that is a free editor program so you can make pictures in to quilts. Kinda Kool :D

Thanks Donna Rae and Roben.. I think I will bypass this site and try the Quilt-Pro and the QA_Installer... I was just hoping since it was an online thing and supposedly always being updated that it would do more than the norm...
