I have two quilt tops to finish for our State quilt guild to be given to recent flood victims.Thismorning, after I pinned them together,I discovered that I hadn't placed one correctly on the batting, and I did not have enough backing on one corner.I was in a hurry, and when I turned it over I got an awful shock.Had to re-do it .So much for being in a hurry.I will slow down in future and measure everything properly.

When things like this happen I can just see my mom standing over me saying "Haste make waste". LOL!
Hope things improve and go more smoothly for you! |

Yup....I've done things like that. Usually right after my quilting buddy (next door neighbor) did it first and told me to be careful and not do it. Guess what....her reminder didn't always work.

It will happen when I get overly confident. It's like the quilting gods are sending me a message saying "not so fast" or "you should never skip a step".
