I've had one all week! I worked on a new purse pattern for 2 days. I read and reread the pattern all the while thinking that the pattern was wrong, but surely patterns couldn't be written wrong!!! Instead of using common sense, I followed the pattern like a good little sewer. Granddaughter will get that purse to play dress up with! Today, I attempted to make my oldest daughter a sundress. Bad Mistake! Looks like Granddaughter will have a dress to play dress up in. Tomorrow I think I'll learn a new hobby or invite my Granddaughter over for the afternoon. HA! Thanks for letting me vent.

You and I must have shared our day. It's been like that for me too!

As Scarlett O'Hara said --- "Tomorrow is another day."

Pam,
I just noticed where you live. Since we are so close, maybe it's something in the air. Or maybe we could blame it on the heat!

Yes, the heat! It's funny, I was just remembering how I was complaining about the cold in February!

At least I have an excuse for 3 more years - CHEMO BRAIN!

I do a sudoku puzzle every morning to test whether I can do anything important that day. If I can't do the puzzle, I'd better not try to sew! Every time I've 'forgotten' to do that test, I've had to unsew EVERYTHING!

Chemo brain is a real thing. Chemo is poison, and it can affect your thinking, memory and ability to focus for up to 5 years. My son just laughed and said 'Chemo Brain!' when I called him TWO DAYS AFTER his birthday to wish him Happy Birthday.

Joanne,
You are right, chemo brain is a real thing. Good luck with the chemo!
