Have you made any Quilted Bed Runners?

I was surfing and found this book on Quilted Bed Runners.

I haven't but would love to try one sometime. I'll put it on my long list of things to do.

I guess I have! I made this as a 'over the back of the sofa' throw and it folds nicely along the seam to hides the back portion if Mom wants to have this at the foot of her bed. I figured if I made 4 stars into a square throw, it would just be folded up most of the time. So why make 4 PP feathered stars when I could just make 3!!

Curious as to what size is recommended? Width/Length

Made one big enough for a 70 lb lab to lay across the foot of the bed. He knew it was his place.

Yes, I've made several. Also it's neat to use if you don't want to tuck your quilt, just put over pillows and it looks like it's part of the quilt.

Love it! What kind of batting is used in these?
