He really loves me...A LOT!!!!!!!

DH and I went looking at sewing machines so I could more easily quilt some of my tops myself. It was his idea and we were only LOOKING. Well the store we went to was having an "event" special and I came home with a Baby Lock Ellisimo Gold, software (to do what all I don't know) and lots (100 spools) of Floriani embroidery thread. Now I need to figure out exactly where in MY sewing room it will fit and how to use all the bells and whistles this little baby has. First I think I need to finish some Christmas projects so I will have time to play. Can't wait for Christmas vacation! :) :) :)
BTW I love him too! :)

Pat625 12-03-2012 12:33 PM

Congratulations on your new baby! LOl! I own the Babylock Spirit and I love it! I've owned Babylock for a few years now started with the Babylock Accent, 4x4 embroidery. Sold that one and upgraded to the babylock ellure. Traded that one for the newer ellure then recently traded that one in for the Spirit and I have never looked back! Enjoy your new toy and i agree he's a keeper!

Zyngawf 12-03-2012 05:52 PM

I love your story. It must make him happy to see you happy. It reminds me of my own quilt supportive husband who told me he didn't care how many quilts I made as long as I sign them and include the year they were made.

gail-r 12-03-2012 05:55 PM

Congrats on an awesome hubby and an awesome machine!! Merry Christmas, Hugs

Isn't it a great feeling when our spouse understands our passion with quilting? My husband got me a Janome 12000 last year and I am beyond happy!! I live in East central Illinois...are we close? Enjoy.

Fantastic! You'll have to share photos of your new machine and your completed projects!

ShirlR 12-04-2012 09:57 AM

Your DH is a gem! Congratulations on getting a Babylock Ellisimo. You will enjoy your machine so much! I have an Ellegante V 4 and I just love it. Babylocks are so easy to use and they are a beautiful machine to look at. IMHO. Floriani products are wonderful. I love their stabilizers and embroidery threads.

margie77072 12-04-2012 11:06 AM

You've been blessed two-fold. One is with a great husband and the second is with a giving husband who understands your obsession.

Amythyst02 12-04-2012 11:34 AM

Right now it would be of pieces scattered over the living room floor. Honestly I am a little intimidated by all the "stuff" it comes with. I'm going to have to sign up for the "How to" classes the store offers very soon. The good thing is they have classroom machines so I won't have to lug my new one around.

MargeD 12-04-2012 12:19 PM

You're a lucky lady - he's a keeper.

vickig626 12-04-2012 01:30 PM

you are one lucky lady!! I go into the Babylock dealer and drool when I see it....I love my Babylock machine (Esante) but want to upgrade next year. Enjoy your new "baby"...
