If anyone has any info on the above machine would you please let me know what you know about it. Is the embroidery part difficult to learn or is it pretty straight forward. I just purchased a used machine & all its goodies for a fair price. Hope I am not making a mistake!! Thanks for any & all comments. Please be honest with me. You won't be offending me by what you say. Thanks.

I personally do not have a 180 but one of my sewing buddies had one before she upgraded to the 200/730E. She embroidered on it all the time and loved it. She did upgrade it to a 185 at some point. Still regrets selling it when she bought the 200/730E.

I have an Artista 180 and absolutely love it. The embroidery module hasn't been used much, but I have done some monograms and it works fine. I also have an 830, and find myself going back to the Artista whenever I am piecing a quilt.

I have an Artista 185 and love it. The embroidery part is easy to use. I had a friend who traded hers in on a 200 a few years ago and she was sorry she did that.
